2.5.5 ip relay-address

ip relay-address ip-address
undo ip relay-address [ ip-address ]

Parameter
ip-address: The starting ip-address in the address pool.
Description
Using the ip relay-address command, you can configure the auxiliary address used
by the Ethernet interface to perform transparent forwarding. Using the undo ip
relay-address command, you can cancel the configured auxiliary address.
By default, the helper address is not specified.
For DHCP, the helper address defines the DHCP server address. After configuring a
helper address, the broadcast packets received from the interface will be transmitted
to the server. The interface that can configure helper addresses should support
broadcast. Each interface can configure at most 20 helper addresses.
