5.1.13 ipx rip mtu

Parameter
bytes: Maximum size of the RIP updating packet, the value range is 432~1500 bytes,
the default value is 432.
Description
Using the ipx rip mtu command, you can configure the maximum size of RIP update
packet. Using the undo ipx rip mtu command, you can restore the maximum size of
RIP update packet to default.
In RIP updating packet, the route information is 8 bytes, and the header of IPX and
RIP is 32 bytes in total. The maximum size of RIP update packet can be calculated
with 32+(n*8, herein, n is the maximum number of route records in one RIP packet).
Example
# Set the maximum RIP packet size at Ethernet0 to be 832 bytes (that is, it can
contain 100 routing messages).
