undo checkzero
View

Parameter
None
Description
Using the checkzero command, you can enable checking the zero field of RIP-1
packet. Using the undo checkzero command, you can disable checking of the zero
field of RIP-1 packet.
By default, the RIP-1 zero check is enabled.
According to RFC1058, some fields in the RIP-1 packet must be zeroes, and these
fields are called zero fields. checkzero or undo checkzero can be used to start or
cancel the checkzero operation on the RIP-1 packet. No processing will be conducted
on the received RIP-1 packet whose zero-field is not a zero.
Since a RIP-2 packet does not contain any zero fields, this command has no effect on
it.
Example
# Disable the check of the zero-field in the RIP-1 packet.
[3Com-rip]undo checkzero
