ipx encapsulation [ dot3 | dot2 | ethernet-2 | snap ]

dot3: Novell Ethernet_802.3.
dot2: IEEE 802.2.
ethernet-2: Novell Ethernet_II.
snap: IEEE 802.2 SNAP.
Description
Using the ipx encapsulation command, you can configure the frame format of
Ethernet. Using the undo ipx encapsulation command, you can restore the frame
format of Ethernet to default.
By default, the frame type is dot3.
The router supports four Ethernet frame formats. The frame received will be
discarded if its format is different from the set format.
Example
# Set the encapsulation frame type at Ethernet0 to be SAP.
[Quidway-Ethernet0] ipx encapsulation sap
