3.1.6 default import-route tag

Syntax
default import-route tag tag
undo default import-route tag
View
OSPF view
Parameter
tag: Means the default tag value when distributing external routes, ranging form 0 to
2147483647. By default, it is 1.
Description
Using the default import-route tag command, you can configure default tag for
importing external routes. Using the undo default import-route tag command, you
can restore the default value.
When OSPF redistributes the routes discovered by other protocols as the external
routing information, it requires the specification of some additional parameters,
including default route cost and default tag. The route tag can be used to identify the
information relevant with routing protocols, for example, it is used to identify the AS
number when OSPF redistributes BGP.
For related commands, see default import-route cost, default import-route type.
Example
# Specify the default tag to be 10 when OSPF redistributes routes from other AS.
[3Com-ospf] default import-route tag 10
