Parameter
as-number: The ID of BGP autonomous system confederation. It is equal to the AS
number which includes the AS numbers of multiple sub-ASs.
Description
Using the confederation id command, you can configure a BGP AS confederation
and designate an ID as the AS number of the confederation. Using the undo
confederation id command, you can cancel the confederation identifier.
By default, the confederation identifier is not configured.
Each sub-system uses different IGPs. But in the aspect of the outside, the
confederation is an independent AS.
