Advertisement

A buffer is allocated in the 3Com router to save certain amount of log information.
When the number of logs exceeds the buffer size, the initial part of log information will
be covered.
For related commands, see display info-center, display current-configuration.
Example
# Configure the log parameter in the buffer, only enabling saving of log information the
seriousness level of which ranges from emergencies to errors in the buffer.

Parameter
host-number: It specifies a Unix host. This value ranges from 0 to 9.
ip-address: It specifies the IP address of the Unix host in dotted decimal format.
port: It specifies the port of the Unix host. This value ranges from 1 to 65535. By
default, this value is 514.
local0~local7: It specifies local application of the Unix. By default, the local
application is local7.
English: The host specified displays info-center information in English. By default,
English is adopted.
Chinese: The host specified displays info-center information in Chinese.
emergencies: Only the info-center information with severity level equal to or higher
than "emergencies" can be output to the info-center loghost specified.
