3Com Router Command Reference Guide — V1.00
Description
Using the ipx network command, you can configure the IPX network ID. Using the
undo ipx network command, you can cancel the IPX network ID.
By default, IPX routing is disabled.
IPX router function can be started only after the IPX network ID is configured on the
interface.
To activate the IPX module on an interface, it is necessary to use the ipx network
command. If it is necessary to change the encapsulation type of the IPX frame, you
can use the ipx encapsulation command.
For related commands, see ipx encapsulation, ipx enable.
Example
# Activate the IPX route at Ethernet0.
[Quidway] ipx enable
[Quidway-Ethernet0] interface ethernet 0
[Quidway-Ethernet0] ipx network 2

5.1.11 ipx rip load-balance-path

Syntax
ipx rip load-balance-path number
undo ipx rip load-balance-path

Parameter
number: The maximum of IPX parallel routes, the range is 1~64. By default, it is 1.
Description
Using the ipx rip load-balance-path command, you can configure the maximum
number of IPX parallel route. Using the undo ipx rip load-balance-path command,
you can restore the maximum number of IPX parallel route to default.
If there is more than one route for the same destination, the system can realize load
balance to send data via the routes in turn.
