"primary". The device which is controlled is called the secondary station, the role of
which is "secondary". The user needs to configure roles for the interfaces.
The SDLC status shall be configured according to the role of the SDLC equipment
connecting with this router. If the SDLC equipment connecting with the interface is
primary, the interface should be set to secondary. If the connected equipment is
secondary, the interface should be set to primary.
Generally, the central IBM mainframes are primary, and the terminal equipments are
secondary, such as the Unix host and the ATM machine.

Parameter
mseconds: Number of ms that the software waits for an acknowledgment packet from
the primary station, ranging from 1 to 60000ms. By default, the acknowledgement
wait time of the SDLC Primary Station is 3000 ms.
Description
Using the sdlc timer ack command, you can configure the time the SDLC primary
station will wait for responses. Using the undo sdlc timer ack command, you can
restore the time to wait for a reply to a frame to the default value.
After sending messages to the secondary station, the SDLC primary station will wait
for responses from the secondary station and timer will be started.
