Parameter
seconds: The delay interval for the main interface to switch to standby interface. It
ranges from 0 to 65535 seconds. By default, it is 0 second.
Description
Using the standby timer enable-delay command, you can configure the delay
interval for the main interface to switch to standby interface. Using the undo standby
timer enable-delay command, you can restore the default value of the delay interval
for the main interface to switch to standby interface.
It is recommended to set the switching delay to prevent frequent main/standby
interface switching due to the instability of the interface status. If the delay interval for
the switch between the main interface and the standby interface is 0, the switch will
be performed at once when the interface status changes.
For related commands, see standby timer disable-delay.
