Description
Using the send command, you can send messages to all users who is logging onto
the router.
Whenever terminal users logging into the same router want to communicate with each
other, they can use the terminal message service to send messages. Remote users
can telnet onto the local router to transmit information such as simple configuration
files and description characters that can not be easily expressed through telephones.
Using the send command is much more convenient than using email.
Enter <Ctrl+W> to terminate the message, and the system will ask the user whether
to send this message to all the terminal users:
Send message? [confirm]
Press <Enter>, <Ctrl+W>, <y>, or <Y> to confirm sending, or press <Ctrl+C> or
other characters to give up sending.
For related commands, see send status, send switch.
