The information in the book follows a task-oriented hierarchy using the elements described in the
following sections.
Chapter (Director Level)
The guide is divided into logical work groups (chapters) that serve as director entry into the procedures.
For example, if you are arriving on site after a contractor has installed the shelf hardware, proceed to

LAN alarm and timing connections, electrical card cables, and
optional dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM)
equipment. Also included is the shelf installation acceptance
