neighbor activate

This command allows the specified neighbor/peer group to be enabled for the current AFI/SAFI (Address Family
Identifier/Subsequent Address Family Identifier).
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, Z-Series, S4810
Syntax
neighbor [ip-address | peer-group-name] activate
To disable, use the no neighbor [ip-address | peer-group-name]
activate command.

By default, when you create a neighbor/peer group configuration in the Router BGP context,

this enables IPv4/Unicast AFI/SAFI. When you use activate in the new context, the
neighbor/peer group enables for AFI/SAFI.

This command allows the specified neighbor/peer group to send/receive multiple path advertisements.

neighbor [ip-address | peer-group-name] add-path [send |
receive | both] path-count
Parameters
ip-address
peer-group-name

(OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal
format.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the peer group.
Enter the keyword activate to enable the neighbor/peer group in
the new AFI/SAFI.
