hello padding

Use to turn ON or OFF padding for LAN and point-to-point hello PDUs or to selectively turn padding ON or OFF for LAN or
point-to-point hello PDUs.
E-Series, S4810
Syntax
hello padding [multi-point | point-to-point]
To return to the default, use the no hello padding [multi-point | point-to-
point] command.

Defaults
Both LAN and point-to-point hello PDUs are padded.

IS-IS hellos are padded to the full maximum transmission unit (MTU) size. Padding IS-IS Hellos
