The authenticator completes authentication only when port-control is set to auto.

dot1x quiet-period

Set the number of seconds that the authenticator remains quiet after a failed authentication with a client.

To disable quiet time, use the no dot1x quiet-time command.

Enable periodic reauthentication of the client.
C-Series, E-Series, S-Series, S4810
Syntax
dot1x reauthentication [interval seconds]
To disable periodic reauthentication, use the no dot1x reauthentication command.

3600 seconds (1 hour)

Introduced on the E-Series.
Enter the number of seconds. The range is 1 to 65535. The default is
60.

seconds
(Optional) Enter the keyword interval followed by the interval
time, in seconds, after which reauthentication is initiated. The range
is 1 to 31536000 (one year). The default is 3600 (1 hour).
