The double asterisk generally indicates the SFM's frequency capabilities, indicating either that
they are operating at 125 MHz or that the frequency capability, which is stored in an EPROM,
cannot be determined.
If there are no fibre ports in the line card, just the header under show inventory media
is displayed. If there are fibre ports but no optics inserted, the output displays "Media not
present or accessible".
