2.2.1 Testing Network Connection

I. ping
The ping command is mainly used to check a network connection and test whether the
host is reachable.
Perform the following operations in any view.

For more information about the options and parameters, refer to the section introducing
the ping command in the Command Manual.
The information output upon the execution of the command includes:
The response to each ping packet. If receiving no response packet upon the
expiration of the timeout setting, the system will output "Request time out".
Otherwise, the system will output the information of the response packet in bytes,
sequence number, TTL, and response time.
Sum information of the statistics, including transmitted packets, number of
received packets, percentage of unacknowledged packets to all transmitted
packets, and minimum, maximum, and mean response times.
