IGNITION (1GR−FE) − CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE GENERATOR (See page CH−7)
3. SEPARATE COOLER COMPRESSOR
(a) Remove the bolt and separate the suction hose sub−
assy.
(b) Disconnect the cooler compressor assy connector.
(c) Remove the 4 bolts, and separate the cooler compressor
from the V−ribbed belt tensioner.

4. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and crankshaft position sensor.
