INJECTOR
ON−VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. REMOVE V−BANK COVER
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER (See page EM−62)
3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See page EM−62)
4. INSPECT INJECTOR RESISTANCE
(a) Disconnect the 6 injector connectors.
(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
Resistance: 11.6 to 12.4 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.
(c) Reconnect the 6 injector connectors.
5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See page EM−89)
6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER (See page EM−89)
7. INSTALL V−BANK COVER
