Common (*) Commands
*ESE (Standard Event Status Enable)
Command Syntax
*ESE <mask_argument>
<mask_argument> ::= integer from 0 to 255
The *ESE common command sets the bits in the Standard Event Status
Enable Register. The Standard Event Status Enable Register contains a
mask value for the bits to be enabled in the Standard Event Status
Register. A "1" in the Standard Event Status Enable Register enables the
corresponding bit in the Standard Event Status Register. A zero disables
the bit.

Event when an OFF to ON transition occurs.
Event when a front-panel key is pressed.
Event when a command error is detected.
Event when an execution error is detected.
Event when a device-dependent error is detected.
Event when a query error is detected.
Event when the device is requesting control. (Not
used.)
Event when an operation is complete.
