An Encapsulation Mismatch Path alarm appears when a point-to-point circuit is created between
two Ethernet card ports with incompatible Encapsulation payload types.
Click the Performance > POS Ports > Statistics tabs.
Click Refresh.
This procedure creates overhead circuits on an ONS 15454 network.
Overhead circuits include DCC tunnels, IP-encapsulated tunnels, the
Alarm Interface Controller (AIC) and Alarm Interface
Controller-International (AIC-I) card orderwire, and the AIC-I card user
data channel (UDC).
