This command enters Router OSPFv3 configuration mode.
Syntax
ipv6 router ospf
Parameters
None.

None.
Mode
Router global configuration: C3(su)‐>router(Config)#
Usage
Use this command to enter OSPFv3 configuration mode so you can configure global OSPFv3
parameters.
Example
This example illustrates entering router OSPFv3 configuration mode.
C3(su)->router(Config)# ipv6 router ospf
C3(su)->router(Config-router)#

default-information originate

This command is used to control the advertisement of default routes.
Syntax
default-information originate [always] [metric value] [metric-type type]
no default-information originate [metric] [metric-type]

metric‐type type
Defaults
A default external route is not generated.
The default metric is unspecified.
The default type is type 2.

(Optional) Specifies the metric of the default route. The metric value can
range from 0 to 16777214.
(Optional) Specifies the metric type of the default route. The metric type
can be 1, which specifies type 1 external route, or 2, which specifies type
