Trim Removal/Installation - Door Areas
Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014
Available through the American Honda Tool and
Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857
Door Sill Area - 2-door
NOTE:
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
• Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and the
panels.
• Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to
avoid damage when removing components.
1. Driver's side: Remove the front side cap from the
door sill trim (see step 1 on page 20-284).
2. Driver's side: Remove the opener lock cylinder, and
loosen the opener mounting bolt (see step 2 on
page 20-284).
3. Driver's side: Remove the screw securing the door
sill trim and trunk lid opener/fuel fill door opener
(see step 3 on page 20-285).
4. Detach the hooks (A) and the tabs (B) from the kick
panel (C) and the rear side trim panel (D), and pull
the door sill trim (E) up by hand to detach the clips,
then remove it.
