DTC Troubleshooting (cont'd)
14. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
Does the blower motor run at high speed?
YES
NO −
power transistor and the blower motor.
15. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
16. Disconnect the jumper wire.
17. Disconnect climate control unit connector B (12P).
18. Check for continuity between body ground and the
climate control unit connector B (12P) No. 5 and
No. 6 terminals individually.

Is there continuity?
YES
between the climate control unit and the power
transistor.
NO −

− Go to step 15.
Repair open in the GRN wire between the

Wire side of female terminals
− Repair short to body ground in the wire(s)
Go to step 19.
19. Check for continuity between the following
terminals of the climate control unit connector B
(12P) and the power transistor 4P connector.
12P: 4P:
No. 5 No. 1
No. 6 No. 3
