28. Measure the voltage between the blower motor
relay 4P socket No. 1 terminal and body ground.

YES

NO
(see page 22-83).
29. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
30. Measure the voltage between the blower motor
relay 4P socket No. 4 terminal and body ground.

Is there battery voltage?
YES
NO −
(7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay
box and the blower motor relay.

BLOWER MOTOR RELAY 4P SOCKET
− Go to step 29.
Replace the under-hood fuse/relay box

Go to step 31.
Repair open in the wire between the No. 16
31. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
32. Check for continuity between the blower motor
relay 4P socket No. 3 terminal and body ground.

Is there continuity?
−
YES Repair open in the WHT wire between the
blower motor relay and the blower motor.
NO − Check for an open in the wire between the
blower motor relay and body ground. If the wire is
OK, check for poor ground at G301 (see page 22-28).
