Checking before Installation

Check that the main power switch is OFF.
1 Turn OFF the main power switch of the host machine.
2) Be sure that Control Panel Display and Main Power Lamp are both turned OFF, and then
disconnect the power plug.

Installation Procedure

1) Free the Reader Communication Cable and the Reader Power Supply Cable from the 2
Wire Saddles.
2) Remove the Left Rear Cover.

3) Open the Toner Replacement Cover.
4) Remove the 2 Finisher Connection Covers. (The removed Finisher Connection Cover will
not be used.)
