Overview of Trigger Source
You can set the trigger source for calibration before executing calibration.
You can select it from "Internal" or "System." Setting it to "System" allows
you to use the same trigger source setting for calibration and
measurement.
You can set the trigger source for calibration (which is usually set to
"Internal") to "System," which allows you to generate triggers at any
timing from a PC for external control or from the front panel for calibration
in the same way as for measurement.
The setting of the point trigger and averaging trigger is also applied to the
trigger for calibration. When the trigger source for calibration is set to
"System" and the trigger source for measurement is set to "External" or
"Manual" with the point trigger function set to ON, a trigger is required for
each measurement point during calibration. When the averaging trigger
function is set to ON, the sweep is performed the number of times
specified by the averaging factor for a single trigger during calibration.
For the following types of calibration, the setting of the trigger source
does not take effect. Those calibration operations are controlled by the
internal trigger.
