To make advanced settings

Click File > Properties to access parameters to control

HyperTerminal.

On the Connect To tab, select the appropriate COM
channel number. COM2 is shown below. You may need to
use COM1, COM2 or COM3.

On the first screen, click Configure to display the COM
Properties screen, shown on the right below.
Set the COM parameters and click OK.
