Steering Column - Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and place the tires
to straight ahead direction.
2. Unscrew the screws at both sides of steering wheel and
remove the horn pad (air bag module). Disconnect the
air bag module connector.
3. Unscrew the steering wheel nut and remove the steering
wheel with special tool.
Notice
• Place an alignment on the steering column shaft
and steering wheel nut.
• Disconnect the remote control switch connectors
on each connector (air bag and horn).
4. Disconnect all the connectors from the instrument panel.
5. Remove the instrument panel side cover and unscrew
the interior fuse box nuts.
