Disassembly
1. Unscrew the transmission oil drain plug (1) and drain the
oil. Place the removed transmission on the work bench.
Note
This manual is described based on 4WD manual
transmission because the service operation
(disassembly and reassembly) of 4WD nad 2WD
manual transmission is same. The difference between
two transmissions is only the shape of extension
housing.
2. Remove the lock washer (1) and TGS pin (2).
3. Pull back the semi-remote control lever. Unscrew the
bolts and remove the top cover.
Note
Be careful not to lose the disassembled components.
4. Set aside the offset lever and remove the spring pin (6 x
25) and offset lever.
