15. Remove the 5th gear synchronizer ring.
Notice
Store at a safe place not to be mixed with other
synchronizer rings.
16. Remove 5/R gear retainer ring from the shaft with a ring
pliers.
Notice
Store the ring with the relevant gear to prevent
incorrect installation.
17. Remove the 5/R synchronizer hub assembly, the reverse
gear and the shift fork at a time.
18. Remove the counter reverse gear.
