REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF ECPS CONTROL UNIT
The ECPS control unit is installed on the hydraulic jack mounting bracket in luggage compartment.
Notice
Overhaul and separate part changing is not allowed. Thus, even though the fault is only in the ECPS
related system likes solenoid valve, you must replace the power steering assembly. Be careful not to
damage the solenoid valve during storage and shipment.

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the ECPS control unit connector.

3. Unscrew the bolts and remove the ECPS control unit
from bracket.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
