Timer Status Register (TSR)

The timer status register holds status flags.

Timer Counter (TCNT)

The timer counter (TCNT) is a 16-bit counter. Only 16-bit access can be used on TCNT; 8-bit
access is not possible.

Description
Count Direction Flag
Status flag that indicates the count direction of the
TCNT counter.
0: TCNT counts down
1: TCNT counts up
Reserved
These bits are always read as 0 and should only be
written with 0.
Status flag that indicates a compare match
between TCNT and 2Td (Td: TDDR value).
