Acceleration/Deceleration Filter Settings

There are two types of acceleration/deceleration filters: an exponential acceleration/decelera-
tion filter and an average movement filter. These filter settings can be used to set non-linear
acceleration/deceleration curves.

The Change Filter Type (CHG_FILTER) motion
command must be executed to enable the setting
of the Filter Type Selection parameter (i.e.,


This parameter sets the acceleration/deceleration
filter time constant.
Always make sure that distribution has been com-
pleted (i.e., that bit 0 in IW
