What has to be done after replacing the diaphragm unit?

IMPORTANT
Use the most current software version available on the
SL Firmware DVD"
1. Switch the unit on.
2. Perform a software update to the current unit software version.
3. Switch the unit off.
Wait approx. 1 minute. Then switch the unit on again.
All modules are updated in accordance with the configuration.
IMPORTANT
If error message E7 61 17 is displayed:
Perform service routine S017.17.
4. Perform a complete unit adjustment or calibration [ → 160].
5. Delete the X-ray component in the SIDEXIS 4 configuration menu
"ORTHOPHOS SL"
(refer to chapter "Setting up the X-ray component [ → 49]").
Only for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France:

Perform an acceptance check without consulting an expert.
