BATIERY
- Remove and refit 86.15.01
Removing
1. Remove the battery leads.
2. Slacken the nuts and swing down the battery
retaining assembly.
3. Lift the battery from the vehicle
Refitting
4. Lift the battery into the tray.
5. Swing up the battery retaining assembly. Tighten the
nuts.
6. Fit the battery leads. Ensure that the earth lead is
connected to the battery negative terminal. Do not
.hammer the terminals to the terminal posts.
7. Coat the terminals with petroleum jelly (vaseline) to
prevent corrosion.
