Removing
I. Drive the vehicle onto a ramp and raise the ramp.
2. Remove the propeller shaft 47.15.01.
3. Using tool RG421 to retain the drive flange, unscrew
and remove the nut and washer.
4. Remove the drive flange.
Refitting
5. Thoroughly clean the mainshaft and drive flange
splines.
6. Fit the drive flange.
7. Refit the washer and nut.
8. Using tool RG421 to retain the flange, tighten the
nut to 90 to 110 Ibfft (l2'4to 15·2kgfm).
9. Refit the propeller shaft 47.15.01.
