Color Doppler or Power Doppler Box
In Color Doppler Mode or Power Doppler Mode mode, a box overlay appears on the control panel to
indicate the currently selected region of interest. The system applies the Color Doppler Mode (or Power
Doppler Mode) colors only to the image data within this box.
This box can be adjusted in the following ways:
To reposition the box, tap and drag it to a new location.

To resize the box, tap and drag the handles at the bottom-left or bottom-right corners of the box.
l
To steer the box, use the Beam Steering control.

Color Doppler or Power Doppler Gain Slider
When in Color Doppler Mode or Power Doppler Mode, the gain slider is marked with a C (or a P,
respectively) to show that the gain slider adjusts the doppler gain.
The frequency shift is in increments of 1 dB.
Slide the gain bar to adjust the visual intensity of the signal that returns to the face of the transducer. Slide
right to add gain (brighten the data), and slide left to reduce gain (darken the mode data).
Color Doppler Mode Image Acquisition Workflow
To acquire an image in Color Doppler Mode:
1. Start an imaging session, then tap Color.
The Color Doppler Mode box appears on the control panel.
