Note:
With the exception of the Ethernet cable, all cables connected to the Vevo
F2 must be 3 m (9' 10") in length or shorter.
Stand Head
The stand head is the middle section of the Vevo F2 Imaging System. It features the control panel,
transducer holders, and USB ports.
Control Panel
The control panel provides a touch screen user interface for the Vevo F2 Imaging System. Its angle can be
adjusted, from fully flat to fully vertical. For more information, refer to Control Panel Interface (Scanning) on
page 38 and Control Panel Interface (Review) on page 41.
To adjust the control panel angle, grasp the sides of the control panel, then tilt the control panel to the
desired angle.
Transducer and Gel Holders
Use the transducer or gel holders located on the left and right sides of the system to store gel bottles and
transducers. Store both items facing up.
FUJIFILM VisualSonics recommends ultrasound gels that are acoustically correct for the range of
frequencies used and are completely aqueous. For example, use gels that have similar properties as
Aquasonic® 100 Ultrasound Transmission Gel.
Transducer Connector Storage
Store inactive transducers by sliding the transducer connector into one of the four shelves in the transducer
connector storage.
