Note:
When in modes that do not support 3D Mode, the Cube tab is still available
to control the 3D motor.
Caution:
Do not disconnect the transducer connector when scanning, when the
3D motor is initializing, or when the 3D motor is moving. If the transducer
connector is disconnected, stop scanning and reconnect. A system restart may be
required.
3D Mode Hardware Setup
To acquire 3D Mode data, the following things must be properly set up:
A Vevo Imaging Station
l
A Vevo Animal Monitoring System
l
A 3D motor attachment for the Vevo Imaging Station
l

Operator Manual and the Vevo Animal Monitoring System Manual.
WARNING:

Using an improperly positioned 3D motor could harm the animal and/or cause
equipment damage.
3D Mode Image Acquisition Workflow
To acquire 3D Mode data:
1. Ensure all hardware accessories are set up correctly.

2. Start an imaging session with a mode supported by 3D Mode, such as B-Mode or PA-Mode.
3. (PA-Mode only) If necessary, select the appropriate sub-mode.
4. Tap Initialize to initialize the 3D motor.
5. On the control panel, tap the Cube tab.
