Wall Filter
PW Doppler and PW Tissue Doppler Generic Measurements
The following generic measurements are available for PW Doppler Mode and PW Tissue Doppler Mode
images:
Acceleration

Point
l
Heart Rate
l
Time
l
Velocity
l
VTI
l
Note: For more information about measurements, refer to Measurements on
page 61.
Modes
Filters out signals that correspond to low velocity axial motion
that appear as a horizontal black band along either side of the
white baseline. Typically these include vessel wall movements,
cardiac wall movements and tissue movements caused by
respiration.
Increase the filter to reduce the lower velocity signals and bring
the waveform of the spectral data closer to the baseline. Reduce
Live
the filter to display more l ow velocity signals.
Tap the Wall Filter button and select one of the available
options:
Low
l
Med
l
High
l
This control does not apply to PW Tissue Doppler Mode.
