Sample Gate
In M-Mode, the region of interest is the image data that the transducer acquires along the vertical line
between the brackets of the green overlay in the B-Mode image. This line is called the sample gate.
To reposition the gate, tap and drag either side of the line.

To adjust the size of the gate, tap and drag either side of the line up or down, or use the Gate Size

control.
(AM-Mode) To adjust the angle of the line, use the AM-Mode Angle control. This automatically
l
switches the system to AM-Mode.
Note:
If M-Mode is on when you adjust the gate, the system will automatically
pause, apply the new settings, and resume scanning.
