Control
Display Map Opens a menu of predefined display maps that can be applied to the current image.
Can be used at any time during live scanning or review.
Only displays display maps available for the currently selected imaging mode.
Adjusts the opacity and brightness of a rendered image.
Optimize
Render Tap this control, then use the sliders and buttons to adjust the render settings. To reset
the opacity and brightness sliders back to default values, tap the 50% button.
This control only appears if you tap More Controls > Render Mode > Render, and the
View Type is set to Cube view in the active pane.
Pan
Toggles Pan mode. This mode allows you to pan the view of a selected pane.
Used to apply a variety of rendering modes. The following modes are available:

Restore
Resets the original view of the 4D-Mode image, including the orientation and zoom.
Modes
Texture Mapping: Displays the surface texture of the 3D Mode image. This mode
is the default mode.
Render: Displays the full 3D Mode image in the Cube view. When you render the
image, the following occurs:
The Cube view traces each line of data, perpendicular to the display for the

full image.
The Optimize Render control is enabled.

MIP (Max): MIP (Max) (Maximum Intensity Persistence) enhances the contrast of
an image by m aximizing the brightest pixels in the image. Use this mode to better
distinguish o rgans from their surrounding area when the organ objects are
brighter than their s urrounding structures.
MIP (Min): MIP (Min) (Minimum Intensity Persistence) enhances the contrast of
an image by m inimizing the brightest pixels in the image. Use this mode to better
distinguish o rgans from their surrounding area when the organ objects are darker
than their s urrounding structures.
