Live Image
The Live Image control is used to help the user make any adjustments needed before starting VADA Mode
acquisition. Adjustments include:
Gain adjustments

Voltage adjustments
l
Localization adjustments
l
Note:
Gain and voltage adjustments only have a visual effect when the live image
is set up for channel data.
When you tap this control, several options appear in a flyout:
Off: No live image.
l
Channel Data: Displays channel data from an unsteered plane wave acquisition.
l
B-Mode Image: A standard B-Mode image.
l
Tap any option to switch the live image to that view. The control button displays the current setting.
VADA Configuration Panel
In VADA Mode, there is a set of four menus that are used to create and select the pulse sequence used in
the session. Collectively, these menus are called the VADA configuration panel.
Navigation
To open the VADA configuration panel, tap any of the four controls (Transmit Delays, Waveforms, Pulse
Sequences, or Preview). Once the VADA configuration panel is open, you can use the tabs along the top to
navigate to any of the four panels.
