Hotel Function
ISDN System phone, that supports function keys for reception phones
(optional, see the phone manual)
Proceed as follows for configuration:
Selecting reception and room phones.
– Using the Configuration Manager (on the following pages)
– Functions > Hotel function > Hotel reception subscribers
– Functions > Hotel function > Room subscribers
Note:
It is not possible to use the system phone as a waiting field reception and
as a reception phone at the same time.
To ensure that charges are billed for the hotel guest also in the case of
transfer requests, the Call charge recording changes with subscriber
function has to be enabled. It makes sense to use the Call charge
transfer at the end of the connection (AOCE) service feature, since
all charges will then be billed to the last subscriber. If, in contrast, the
connection uses the Call charge transfer during connection (AOCD)
service feature, at least one unit will be billed to the hotel.
To ensure that the hotel continues to be available even when many
guests are making calls (e. g. for room reservation), the reception
phones can be summarised to a group, for instance. You can then
reserve one or several voice channels for this group. A further option is
to grant exchange line authorisation for the room phones only for a part
of the available external ports.
Configuring the printing function.
– Using the Configuration Manager (page Functions > Hotel function
> Create print form)
