3 Check ABS solenoid relay operation.
PREPARATION:
(a) Connect the TOYOTA hand−held tester to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and push the TOYOTA hand−held tester main switch ON.
(c) Select the ACTIVE TEST mode on the TOYOTA hand−held tester.
CHECK:
Check the operation sound of the ABS solenoid relay when operating it with the TOYOTA hand−held tester.
OK:
The operation sound of the ABS solenoid relay should be heard.

4 Check voltage between terminals +BS (1) and GND (2, 24) of skid control ECU.

If the same code is still output after the DTC is deleted, check the contact condition of each con-
nection. If the connection is normal, the ECU may be defective.

PREPARATION:
Disconnect the Skid Control ECU connector.

CHECK:
Measure the voltage between terminal 1 and 2, 24 of the Skid
Control ECU harness side connector.
