INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check ATF temperature sensor.
OK
2 Check harness and connector between ATF temperature sensor and ECM
(See page IN−30).
OK
Check and replace the ECM
(See page IN−30).

DIAGNOSTICS − AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE (U341E)
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the transmission wire connector.
CHECK:
Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 6 of transmission
wire connector.
OK:
90 Ω to 156 kΩ
HINT:
Refer to the table below for resistance values according to ATF
D12851
temperature.
ATF temperature
10°C (50°F)
25°C (77°F)
110°C (230°F)
Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 6 of the transmis-
sion wire connector and body ground.
OK:
Resistance: 1 MΩ or higher
NG Replace the ATF temperature sensor (transmis-
sion wire).
NG Repair or replace the harness or connector.
