This command adds a static multicast group as a (*, g). When a static IGMP group is added, multicast
data for that (*,g) is forwarded to the specific SAP without receiving any membership report from a
host.

Description
This command identifies filter policy of multicast groups to be applied to this VPLS entity. The
sources of the multicast traffic must be a member of the VPLS.
The no form of the command removes the policy association from the VPLS configuration.
No group policy is specified.

Parameters
policy-name — The group policy name. Allowed values are any string up to 32 characters long
composed of printable, 7-bit ASCII characters. If the string contains special characters (#, $, spaces,
etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes. Routing policies are configured in the
config>router>policy-options context. The router policy must be defined before it can be imported.
force-vlan-vc-forwarding

This command forces vc-vlan-type forwarding in the data path for spoke/mesh SDPs which have
either vc-type. This comand is not allowed on vlan-vc-type SDPs.
The no form of this command sets default behavior.
