MAINTENANCE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS

Auto Answer Ring Count (rings): S0=10
Valid entries are internal or external. 11 fields disappear when
the Modem Connection field is set to internal.
These two fields establish the data format for transmitting serial
data from the switch to the modem. Valid combinations are:
Data Bits = 8, Parity = None
Data Bits = 7, Parity = (odd, even, mark, or space)
Enter up to 20 characters to provide a qualifier for a modem.
Enter up to 6 characters to informs the modem that communication
with the data source UART will be driven with RTS/CTS flow
control. (\Q3)
Enter up to 8 characters to configure the modem as an
asynchronous communications device. (&M0&Q0)
