Prevent overshoot.
• Set b5-03 [Integral Time (I)] to a larger value.
Quickly stabilize control.
• Set b5-05 [Derivative Time (D)] to a larger value.
• Set b5-03 [Integral Time (I)] to a smaller value.
Prevent long-cycle oscillations.
Set b5-03 [Integral Time (I)] to a larger value.
• Set b5-05 [Derivative Time (D)] to a smaller value.
Prevent short-cycle oscillations.
• If you set b5-05 = 0.00 [Derivative Time (D) =

The drive uses b5-38 [PID User Unit Display Scaling], b5-39 [PID Setpoint Display Digits], and b5-46 [PID Unit
Display Selection] together to apply the user-set PID setpoint and display units at any time.
Parameter b5-38 sets the scaling and b5-46 sets the units-text to the parameters and monitors shown in
